We have been super busy this week, practicing for our Christmas Concert. We are excited for our performances next week! Be sure to choose your seats wisely...we are on the right hand side of the stage, when you are facing it.

In Social Studies, we completed our exploration of the Acadian culture traditions. We are continuing to learn about the Natural Resources found in Meteghan, how they influence the jobs of the people who live in Meteghan, and how these Natural Resources become Goods.

In Math, we have been having fun learning about 2-D shapes. Today we learned the term polygon. A polygon must have straight sides and is a closed shape. Ask your child to draw you their favorite polygon.

During Daily 5 Writing, we have been working on our Robot In A Box paragraphs. Students answer questions to help guide their writing, write their sentences, edit for correct conventions and revise if necessary. I am impressed by the details that many students are including in their writing to help create a mental picture for the reader.
