Today in 2S!

We are having so much fun learning about polar bears!  Today we learned that a male polar bear can be 10 feet tall and measured ourselves against the polar bear who is standing in our hallway.  The highlight of our 'beary awesome' day today was checking in with Chinook, Kalluk and Tatqiq, the three polar bears from the San Diego Zoo.  They were eating carrots, playing in the water and enjoying a nap in the sun!

Today we learned about Ukrainian food, clothing and dance.

Pen Pals!

We were so excited today to receive letters written by Grade 2 & 3 students from David Lloyd George School in Vancouver! It was fun to learn a little about them while they asked us some great questions to reply to. We can't wait to write back to our new Pen Pal friends.
