Today was a great first day of Grade Two!  We took first day photos!

In the morning, we talked about emotions and how we felt on the first day of school.  Students chose emojis that represented their feelings throughout the day and wrote about it.

In the afternoon, Garth Prince came and shared his love of African music with the school.  His vocal and percussion talent was amazing!  

Reminders:
- Please read and initial your child's agenda nightly. 
- There was a newsletter that came home explaining most routines for our class.
- Million Words Or Less - parent homework!
- Students line up at the front of the school in the morning, but are dismissed from the west doors.  The closest parking is the pool.  Please ensure your child is aware of where you will meet them.  Bus students will walk to the front of the school.
