Yesterday afternoon, students spent time outdoors completinh an ABC Nature Scavenger Hunt!
This morning, students participated in their first school-wide Friday Assembly. At each assembly throughout the year, one child from our class will be recognized as Student of the Week. If your child is receiving the award, you will be emailed prior to the assembly. However, all parents are welcome to attend every assembly; join us and cheer on the accomplishments of all of our amazing RBES students!
Students learned a new game called, Stepping Stones.
The score was Mrs. Suter 0 Students 3!
We launched into our Number Sense Unit yesterday. For the next week, students will work with the number 1-10. We will focus on counting, number recognition, subitizing, one-to-one correspondence, greater than, less than, number words, addition and subtraction.
Today, we practiced one to one correspondence and students worked through 8 stations to identify which colour of cubes had more.
