The beginning of another busy week....

Stepping Stones .. A new game we learned during Calendar.

In Math today, students used various manipulatives to create repeating patterns.  

During Daily 5, we continued to build our stamina: we are up to 3 minutes! Students were also introduced to a Comprehension (I understand what I read) Strategy: Check for Understanding.  Good readers stop frequently to check for understanding or to ask who and what.
